Although this year’s Texas Medical Association Winter Conference will be held completely virtually, there still will be plenty to learn and explore throughout the two-day event.
During TMA’s first-ever virtual conference, set for Jan. 29 and 30, you’ll be able to learn about the pressing health issues of 2021, chat with physician colleagues from around the state, visit exhibitors, and earn free CME credit.
Register today, and find the full agenda online.
Friday’s schedule includes a discussion on evaluation and management (E&M) coding changes with Carra Benson, manager of TMA Practice Management and Reimbursement Services. You’ll also be able to visit with vendors and earn points to be entered to win one of four Amazon gift cards.
On Saturday morning, the live schedule kicks off at 9 am with a welcome from TMA President Diana L. Fite, MD. General session programming will include a conversation about the COVID-19 pandemic with John Hellerstedt, MD, commissioner of the Texas Department of State Health Services; and John Zerwas, MD, executive vice chancellor for health affairs at The University of Texas System.
Also Saturday, a panel of state and national physician leaders will address 2021 legislative priorities.
