Find out how to identify, manage, and care for potential patients with the novel coronavirus by participating in a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Clinician Outreach and Communication Activity (COCA) call and webinar on Thurs., March 5 from 1-2pm (CT).
The program will include a panel of experts from CDC’s COVID-19 clinical and emergency response teams and cover the most up-to-date information and guidance on what physicians and other clinicians can do to prepare for the coronavirus disease 2019 outbreak, including how to:
- Identify persons under investigation (PUIs);
- Apply infection prevention and control measures;
- Assess risks for exposures;
- Optimize the use of personal protective equipment supplies; and
- Manage and care for patients, inpatient and at home.
