With winter upon us, it’s time to reflect on a few of our favorite things.
Oh, sure, raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens are great, but here at the Texas Medical Association, one of our favorite things is the annual Winter Conference.
See, unlike snowflakes that stay on your nose and eyelashes, the benefits of attending the 2020 Winter Conference can last a lifetime and include getting to know other physicians from across the state while earning a few CME credits.
And, members register for free. That’s better than schnitzel with noodles.
This year’s conference is scheduled for Jan. 24-25 at the Hyatt Regency Austin and the Louis J. Goodman Texas Medical Association Building (Friday only) in downtown Austin. Online registration is now open.
The General Session will include panel discussions on Texas’ influence on national health care policy, how to use Texas’ new prescription monitoring program (known as PMP Aware) to communicate better with patients, and climate change.
Visit the Winter Conference webpage for more information on the conference, including a full schedule.
You can register for the conference online until Jan. 17, or you can register on site. Attendance is free to TMA members.
Questions? Email the TMA Knowledge Center or call (800) 880-7955 from 8:15 am to 5:15 pm CT Monday through Friday.
