Fort Worth obstetrician/gynecologist G. Sealy Massingill, MD, and his wife, Debbie, (pictured below) have been named host-city chairs of the Texas Medical Association Foundation’s 27th annual gala, scheduled on May 1 during TexMed 2020.

Foundation_Gala_MassingillsThe 2020 TMAF gala – themed The Art of Medicine – will recognize Fort Worth for its vibrant art scene and honor the unique ways in which physicians treat each patient.

Dr. Massingill is a Fort Worth native who was born in one of the hospitals where he now practices. Active in the Tarrant County Medical Society for many years, he served as its president in 2012 and as TMA Foundation president from 2013-2015.

Mrs. Massingill is active in the TMA Alliance, serving as its TMA Hard Hats for Little Heads chair for two years. The Massingills have supported TMA Foundation since 1996 and are Steward Major Donors

“We are thrilled and honored to chair the foundation gala in our hometown,” Dr. and Mrs. Massingill said. “Please join us in support of this worthwhile and fun event, which raises funds for programs that TMA and TMA Alliance members make possible in communities around the state – not to mention it will be the best time you’ll have at TexMed.”

During the gala, set for Friday, May 1, more than 500 physicians and friends of medicine will enjoy cocktails, seated dinner, live music, dancing, auctions, and more. Sponsorships are available at various recognition levels ranging from $3,000 for a table of eight to $50,000 for the exclusive presenting sponsorship.
