Alisa M. Berger, MD, a Bryan urologist in practice for 13 years, was reconfirmed to serve as vice councilor of the Texas Medical Association (TMA) Board of Councilors, the organization’s ethical policymaking body. TMA physicians reconfirmed Dr. Berger to represent District 12 in north central Texas for a new three-year term on the board.
Dr. Berger is a member of the Brazos-Robertson County Medical Society.
TMA is the largest state medical society in the nation, representing nearly 53,000 physician and medical student members. It is located in Austin and has 110 component county medical societies around the state. TMA’s key objective since 1853 is to improve the health of all Texans.
