Roland A. Goertz, MD, a Waco family physician in practice for 35 years, was reconfirmed to serve on the Texas Medical Association (TMA) Board of Councilors, the organization’s ethical policymaking body. Dr. Goertz was reconfirmed for a new three-year term. He will represent his Central Texas geographic region on the TMA ethics board.
He is a member of the McLennan County Medical Society.
TMA is the largest state medical society in the nation, representing nearly 53,000 physician and medical student members. It is located in Austin and has 110 component county medical societies around the state. TMA’s key objective since 1853 is to improve the health of all Texans.
