Have you integrated mental or behavioral health care into your practice?

Is your practice’s model simple, innovative, and easy for a variety of primary care practices to copy and use for themselves?

Are you interested in winning $10,000 for work you’ve already done?

If the answer to all of those questions was yes, consider entering the Texas Academy of Family Physicians’ (TAFP’s) Behavioral Health Integration Innovators Competition

TAFP is kicking off the competition in May, which has been designated Mental Health Month

“The competition will foster a network of behavioral health integration models for the primary care physician community,” TAFP said in announcing the competition. “All applicants will share their best practices, while showing physicians that ‘it can be done.’”

Prizes will be awarded for integrating models in three care settings: academic settings, integrated health systems, and small group and solo practices.

The deadline for submissions is July 8. Winners will be determined and notified in August, and winning innovations will be announced in November.

Find more information, including how to register, on the TAFP’s website.
