The Texas Medical Association Foundation’s (TMAF’s) 26th Annual Gala – BIG & BRIGHT! – will be the most fun you’ve ever had at TexMed.

Purchase your tickets or table today for the retro state-fair themed event, which is scheduled for 6:30 to 10:30 pm Friday, May 17, in conjunction with TexMed 2019 at the Hilton Anatole Dallas.

More than 500 physicians, TMA Alliance members, and friends of medicine will enjoy cocktails, a seated dinner, live music, dancing, auctions, carnival games, and more. TMAF’s annual gala is the largest fundraiser of the year supporting TMA’s charitable health programs.

The 2019 TMAF Gala will feature:

  • Kendra Scott mystery boxes containing jewelry valued at $50 to $250, yours for only $75 each while quantities last. What’s in the box? It's a mystery.
  • Silent and live auctions, including a personal tour for four guests of Johnson Space Center donated by Art Puccetti, NASA mission control consul in 1968; Texas political collectible items compliments of TEXPAC; jewelry, hotel stays, fine wine, dining certificates, music experiences, and more.
  • Carnival game fundraisers, including Tipsy Toss – a ring toss onto bottles of wine such as Silver Oak.

Dress is vintage 1930s-40s attire or business casual. Volunteer opportunities are available for medical students for which they can enjoy a complimentary dinner and will be recognized.

TMAF thanks its more than 50 gala sponsors, including H-E-B, Drs. Nick and Leena Shroff, Pfizer, and Texas Medical Liability Trust. Corporate sponsorships are still available starting at $3,000. Individuals may sponsor a table of eight for $2,200. General admission tickets are $250. VIP tickets are $300.
