Sound Off On the State of Texas’ Mental Health Services

Have you received — or does your practice provide — mental health or substance-use services in Texas?

If so, the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) wants to hear what you think about the state’s behavioral health services system and is inviting you to share your opinions in a survey.

The Statewide Behavioral Health Coordinating Council will use the survey results to update the Statewide Behavioral Health Strategic Plan, which keeps state lawmakers up to date on behavioral health in Texas.

The 10-question survey asks several questions about the strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities of and within Texas’ behavioral health system.

The online survey is open until Oct. 22.

For more information about the survey or the plan, email Amy Chandler at the HHSC.
