We didn’t think so.
How then do we get Texas medical students to Texas Medical Association conferences where their voices will be heard and they can make a difference for their future profession?
You can help defray expenses for medical students who want to attend TMA conferences, such as Fall Conference at the end of this week, by offering a donation of $25, $50, $100, or any amount you choose.
To donate to the student travel fund, visit www.texmed.org/donate and select “TMA MSS Travel Fund” from the list of gifts. The fund covers expenses such as travel and hotel stays.
And if you haven’t done so, be sure to register for Fall Conference, scheduled at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa on Sept. 28 and 29. Registration for the event is free for members.
