Save the Date: Resident and Young Physician Mixer and Meeting
By David Doolittle

What are you doing Friday, Sept. 28?

I realize that’s about six weeks away, so you might not be thinking that far in advance.

That’s why you should mark your calendar now for a resident and young physician meeting that will be held during the 2018 Texas Medical Association Fall Conference at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort and Spa.

There are actually two events that night specifically designed for residents and young physicians: A mixer from 8 to 9 pm, followed by the business meeting from 9 to 10 pm.

Details on the meeting agenda are still being finalized, so stay tuned for more information.

However, TMA’s Fall Conference promises to be interesting and engaging.

This year’s programming includes a legislative overview on opioids, physician wellness, augmented intelligence, and more. The Dawn Duster, set for 7:30 am on Sept. 29, will explore the impact venture capitalists have on the health care marketplace.

Register for the conference no later than Sept. 14. Once you have registered, you will receive an email with a link to register for the resident and young physician business meeting.

For more information, including room availability and the agenda for the general session, check the TMA Fall Conference website

Questions? Email the TMA Knowledge Center or call (800) 880-7955 from 8:15 am to 5:15 pm (CDT) Monday-Friday.
