Young physicians will have plenty to see and do at TexMed 2018, the Texas Medical Association’s annual meeting scheduled for May 18 and 19 in San Antonio.
The chair of the Young Physician Section, Lindsay Botsford, MD, has called a section meeting for 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Friday, May 18. This meeting will be held in the Goldenrod room, on level 3 of the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa in northwest San Antonio.
During the meeting, elections for the Section Executive Council will be held. Positions up for election are chair-elect, TMA delegate (four positions), and TMA alternate delegate (four positions).
To apply, submit a letter of intent and CV to your section coordinator by May 1.
TexMed is TMA’s premier educational showcase and expo that attracts more than 1,500 physicians, medical students, residents, fellows, and medical office staff in one place over two days.
This year’s keynote speaker is Zubin Damania, MD, also known as ZDoggMD, who will host a special meet and greet exclusively for young physicians from 1-1:30 pm, Friday in the Expo Hall. Check your inbox in the coming weeks for more information.
