BLAST OFF! With the TMA Foundation

Meet physicians and other medical students from around the state and enjoy a terrific seated dinner when you volunteer at the TMA Foundation’s (TMAF’s) annual gala May 5 in conjunction with TexMed 2017 at the Marriott Marquis. The theme this year is BLAST OFF!, and your volunteer service will help ensure TMA members and their guests have an out-of-this-world experience raising money to support TMA and family of medicine programs funded by the TMA Foundation.

Volunteer duties may include:

  • Assisting with event décor set-up,
  • Guest check-in at registration,
  • Guest check-out for silent and live auction winnings,
  • Mobile and live auction bidding assistance, and
  • Recording bids for the Make-A-Difference drive.

Volunteer shifts are available 2-5 pm, 5-8:30 pm, and 8-10:30 pm. A minimum of two hours’ total volunteer time is greatly appreciated. Sign up online by April 21 for a Medical Student Volunteer ticket if you are able to help.
