Workers' Compensation Lack of Benefits Because of Cultural and Language Differences: The Texas Medical Association reaffirms its commitment to its mission to improve the health of all Texans and support a continued investigation by the Texas Division of Workers' Commission of the problems of individuals with legitimate medical claims who may not be receiving adequate workers' compensation benefits and/or may not be allowed to work lighter duty jobs because of cultural and/or language differences (Committee on Rehabilitation, p 170, I-94; reaffirmed CSE Rep. 3-A-04; amended CSE Rep. 2-A-14).
