Manganese in Gasoline: The Texas Medical Association is concerned that use of manganese carbonyl (MMT) in the gasoline supply has the potential for placing high-risk populations at special risk of manganese toxicity and joins the American Medical Association in supporting further federal research into its health effects (Committee on Environment, p 110, A-97; reaffirmed CPH Rep. 2-A-07; amended CSPH Rep. 3-A-17).
