2005 Legislative Compendium: Agency Sunset Review

HB 1116 by Rep. Burt Solomons (R-Carrollton) and Sen. Jane Nelson (R-Lewisville) moves up the Sunset Review date for several governmental entities, including the Correctional Managed Health Care Committee, Texas Cancer Council, Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities, and Governor's Committee on People With Disabilities. It delays Sunset Review of the Texas Department of Insurance an additional two years (will be abolished in 2009 if not continued).
