UnitedHealthcare (UHC) HealthSelect plan termination date: When checking eligibility for HealthSelect of Texas (Employees Retirement System) members, practices may see two lines of coverage. One line shows a termination date of May 31, 2016, and the other line shows a new active line beginning on June 1, 2016, with no end date. UHC says there is no gap in coverage for these members, and the termination date is incorrect. UHC says it is working to fix the problem.
BlueCross BlueShield of Texas (BCBSTX) electronic funds transfer (EFT): Physicians who are currently enrolled in and/or are receiving claims payments via EFT from BCBSTX may have received an erroneous credit in their bank accounts. The error occurred on May 12, 2016. BCBSTX says it is taking steps to resolve the issue and has posted information regarding how to determine if you received the credit, what BCBSTX is doing to remedy the situation, and what affected physicians can do.
