El Paso Physician Reelected to Texas AMA Body

Roxanne M. Tyroch, MD, an El Paso internist in practice for 21 years, was reelected today to represent Texas physicians as an alternate delegate to the American Medical Association’s (AMA’s) House of Delegates, the national organization’s policymaking body. Texas Medical Association’s (TMA’s) House of Delegates elected Dr. Tyroch today in Dallas during TexMed, TMA’s annual meeting.  

She, along with the rest of the Texas Delegation to AMA, make policy recommendations to the national body on behalf of Texas doctors.

Dr. Tyroch is a member of the El Paso County Medical Society.

TMA is the largest state medical society in the nation, representing more than 49,000 physician and medical student members. It is located in Austin and has 110 component county medical societies around the state. TMA’s key objective since 1853 is to improve the health of all Texans.
