WHO: New Braunfels obstetrician-gynecologist Kari Fay, MD
“Walking is one of the easiest and most effective
ways to increase overall health,” said Dr. Fay. “As an OB-Gyn, I want to
help my patients (moms) encourage active lifestyles in their families
and remind them they also are taking care of themselves.”
The Walk With a Doc
concept is simple: Physicians organize walks in their communities and invite
their patients and their patients’ families to join them. Walk
With a Doc
is overseen by a national nonprofit organization.
Walk With a Doc is
a free program. Preregistration is not required. Future walks will be announced
on the Walk With a Doc website.
