On Nov. 5, Texans will vote on Proposition 6, a constitutional amendment designed to extend funding for the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) and keep the agency’s grants flowing for an estimated 10 additional years. The Texas Medical Association supports this effort to keep CPRIT's current funding from running out in 2022.
