On April 16, Novitas Solutions notified Texas Medicare physicians that a system problem had delayed the printing and mailing of Additional Documentation Request (ADR) letters for claims received between April 1, 2013, and April 12, 2013.
Novitas later fixed the problem and reported it had mailed out all the missing ADR letters as of April 18.
No claims were processed incorrectly due to this delay, Novitas says. For the letters dated April 1 to April 12, 2013, you have 30 days from the date you receive the letter to respond to the request (typically you have from 30 days of the date of the letter).
