Texas Medical Association provides live courses by request on various topics to educate physicians and other health care professionals. Physician Health and Wellness Live Courses
TMA's Committee on Physician Health and Wellness (PHW) offers several courses that are designated for CME Category 1 credits and ethics and/or professional responsibility hours. Available as one-hour live presentations, topics include physician stress and burnout, communication skills, women in medicine, fatigue in physicians, Substance Use Disorders, intervention, tobacco cessation, professional boundaries, challenging patient encounters, managing patients with pain, domestic violence, cultural competence, and many more. TMA Ambassador Program
