    Collaborating for Great Health

    Alt Tag

Collaboration is a term that is bandied about quite a bit these days. But for TMA Foundation, it’s in our DNA. This started when the TMA Board of Trustees was clear in its expectation that the foundation would identify and build relationships with individuals and institutions who shared medicine’s vision for a healthier Texas.

The result? Every program funded by the Foundation reflects the expertise and resources that medicine, business and community bring to improving the health of all Texans.

With Hard Hats for Little Heads, you see physicians, alliance members and medical students hosting events in collaboration with schools, civic clubs and local fire and police departments and many others. In Tarrant County Medical Society’s Project Access you see compassionate specialty care provided at no charge to the uninsured thanks to the collaboration among volunteer physicians and hospitals, labs and others who donated needed services.

Collaboration is all about working together. At the TMA Foundation, we are honored to work with you, our generous and thoughtful donors. Each time you donate your money, your time or your ideas to TMAF, you support the vision that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Thank you for all you do to support our collaborative approach to improving the health of all Texans!.

    Yours in good health,

    Leslie H. Secrest, MD
    President, TMA Foundation
