ICTC, TMA's BWI Team Up to Vaccinate Kids for School - 04/26/2018

The Immunization Collaboration of Tarrant County (ICTC) and Texas Medical Association’s (TMA’s) Be Wise — ImmunizeSM program join to provide vaccinations to prepare Tarrant County children for school and prevent harmful and potentially deadly diseases. ICTC also provides meningococcal vaccination for college students and limited adult vaccinations.

The state lost 50.08 direct graduate medical education slots and 39.8 indirect medical education positions from 21 hospitals.

Nueces County Medical Society Alliance Receives Vaccination Grant - 05/06/2016

The Nueces CMS Alliance received a $2,000 grant from Texas Medical Association’s (TMA’s) Be Wise — ImmunizeSM program to vaccinate students entering Del Mar College in Corpus Christi in August. The alliance will provide the vaccinations in conjunction with the South Texas Family Planning Clinic and Health Corporation.

Smith CMS Alliance Receives Grant For Free Flu Shots - 05/06/2016

The Smith County Medical Society Alliance(SCMSA) has received a $2,000 grant from the Texas Medical Association (TMA) Be Wise — ImmunizeSM program to provide free flu vaccinations to Tyler Day Nursery students and their parents and/or caregivers, plus staff, this fall. This is the first time free vaccinations will be given at the nursery.

Stephen F. Austin State University (SFA) Student Health Services has received a $1,992 grant from the Texas Medical Association (TMA) Be Wise — ImmunizeSM program to provide free flu vaccinations to students this fall.
