The association is composed of 112 local component county medical societies. We are a unified organization, and membership in both is required. The local county medical societies are one of the key reasons for TMA’s strength. Their grassroots efforts have made us the largest and most powerful medical society in the nation. You can count on your county medical society for representation and advocacy as well as local benefits and services designed to fit the needs of your physician community.
At the county level, TMA members can:
- Build cohesive groups through local meetings, programs, and events;
- Participate in grassroots advocacy efforts;
- Tap into local benefits and services;
- Address health issues of importance to your community and your state; and
- Network with colleagues
Contact your county medical society today to volunteer, participate, and take advantage of these benefits.
