    Laura Palmer, BS, FACMPE, has focused on practice management for more than 25 years. She has managed urgent care, endocrinology, occupational, family, and internal medicine practices. Ms. Palmer has assisted more than 1,000 physicians with the business side of medicine during her eight years as a TMA consultant. She also has served as a seminar speaker and trainer for physicians and staff TMA since 2003. Ms. Palmer holds a BS in medical technology from Michigan State University and is a Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives through the Medical Group Management Association.

    The Texas Medical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 

    The TMA designates this live activity for a maximum of 3 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
