- WHAT: The Texas Medical Association (TMA) will honor Texas’ best legislators from the 81st legislative session. These 12 women and men will receive TMA’s “Friends of Medicine” award for their relentless energy, dedication, and steady leadership on behalf of Texas’ patients and physicians.

- WHO: William H. Fleming, III, MD, TMA president, and D’Anna Wick, TMA Alliance president, will present these 12 legislators with TMA’s Friends of Medicine award:
