Problems using the national provider identifier (NPI) on claims continue, so TrailBlazer Health Enterprises has developed a training tool [PDF] that gives you detailed instructions on the accurate submission of NPI claims data and the correction of NPI data with the National Plan and Provider Enumeration System.
If you have not submitted a CMS-855 enrollment application to TrailBlazer since November 2003, you must complete the entire 855 application to populate PECOS, the provider enrollment system. This is needed only if you are updating information with Provider Enrollment.
