The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has posted on its Web site a new educational resource to help physicians comply with the Physician Quality Reporting Initiative (PQRI). The print version will be available soon, CMS says.
The 2008 PQRI Reporting Fact Sheet [ PDF ] gives an overview of the changes to the 2008 PQRI reporting options, such as alternative reporting periods and alternative criteria for satisfactorily reporting for 2008 measures groups, and registry-based reporting.
