The John P. McGovern Foundation in Houston, a longtime supporter
of the TMA Foundation's work, has pledged to match the first
$10,000 in contributions to the 2008 Star/Superstar campaign.
Partnered with the foundation's annual gala at TexMed 2008
this month, the Star/Superstar campaign raises unrestricted funds
to ensure that tens of thousands of Texans continue to receive
access to vital health prevention and awareness programs delivered
by TMA physicians and their families.
