The John P. McGovern Foundation in Houston, a longtime supporter of the TMA Foundation's work, has pledged to match the first $10,000 in contributions to the 2008 Star/Superstar campaign. Partnered with the foundation's annual gala at TexMed 2008 this month, the Star/Superstar campaign raises unrestricted funds to ensure that tens of thousands of Texans continue to receive access to vital health prevention and awareness programs delivered by TMA physicians and their families.
Join the John P. McGovern Foundation by contacting the TMA Foundation or by making a gift through the foundation's Web site by June 2. Your generosity will be recognized in a special ad appearing in Texas Medicine and on the TMA Foundation's Web site.
