Physicians, nurses, hospital officials, business leaders, insurers, policymakers, and government officials will join health information technology (HIT) experts at the National Health Information Technology Summit April 15-16 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. The University of Texas at Houston School of Health Information Sciences is sponsoring the event.
National Coordinator for Health Information Technology Robert M. Kolodner, MD, will be among the speakers.
The summit's goal is to bring regional health care stakeholders together to facilitate consensus and provide input to local, state and federal government representatives.
