TMA, TEXPAC, the TMA Alliance, and specialty societies will start the 2008 election year with the TEXPAC Grassroots Forum Jan. 4-6 at the La Cantera Resort in San Antonio. Please join us.
The three-day event combines the usual biennial TEXPAC retreat with an extension of the advocacy strategy planning the TMA Board of Trustees began in August. Check out "A Legislative Juggernaut" from the October Texas Medicine.
Medicine's victories in the 2009 Texas Legislature will begin with successes in the 2008 elections. The forum will allow TMA to continue devising a united strategy for legislative and political success. Remember, medicine needs many voices delivering one message on behalf of your patients and your profession.
