Browse: The TMA Web site has been reorganized to make the content easier for our members to find and use. Information was broken into categories that were found to be most intuitive to physicians in user testing.
The site features two main navigation bars, one on the top of the page and one on the left. The top navigation bar mostly contains information about TMA – our association, related organizations, services, publications, etc. The left navigation bar is broken into content areas that help the physician obtain CME, help in opening a practice, legislative information, and much more. Click on each term on the navigation bar to go to its main page, or scroll over it to see a drop-down menu for quick access to the lower level pages.
Search Engine: Search the entire TMA site for terms that you specify. Enter terms that best describe a topic, and the search engine will find the best matches in the database. You may choose to sort results by ranking, title, or date. Each result will display the content title, the date last modified, and a summary when available.
Keywords: At the top of many content pages the term "Keywords" appears in red, followed by a list of hyperlinked keywords that have been assigned to that content. Click on a keyword to be taken to a list of similar content.
Site Map: On the upper right-hand corner of every page, the site map is just a click away. Go to the site map to view the topical structure of the site. Click on any title to go directly to the content.
Breadcrumbs: Breadcrumbs are navigational links that appear below the page header. They display a hierarchical path to help you figure out where you are within the framework of the TMA site. Crumbs also allow you to easily navigate "up" one or through multiple levels in the site.
