  • American College of Physicians - the ACP-ASIM Clinical Practice Guidelines site covers many areas of internal medicine, such as screening for cancer and other major diseases, diagnostic testing, treatment options, and medical technology  
  • American Psychiatric Association - online resources, including clinical practice guidelines, regarding the diagnosis and treatment of mental and emotional illnesses and substance use disorders

  • Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews (CDSR) - contains full-text articles, as well as protocols focusing on the effects of healthcare. Reviews are structured and systematic, with evidence included or excluded on the basis of explicit quality criteria, to minimize bias. Available for TMA Members Only  
  • Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effectiveness (DARE) - includes abstracts of published systematic reviews on the effects of health care from around the world, which have been critically analyzed according to a high standard of criteria and provides access to quality reviews in subjects for which a Cochrane review may not yet exist.   • HerbMed ® - an interactive, electronic herbal database providing hyperlinked access to the scientific data underlying the use of herbs for health. It is an evidence-based information resource  
  • PDQ: Physician Data Query - National Cancer Institute's comprehensive database, enables health care providers and their patients to search for ongoing clinical trials from around the world and to find directories of physicians, genetic counselors, and organizations that provide cancer care
