For physicians who participated in the 2013 Medicare electronic health record (EHR) incentive program, the deadline to attest to meaningful use is quickly approaching. Physicians hoping to receive the incentive must attest no later than March 31, 2014, by 10:59 pm CT. The previous deadline for physicians to attest for the Medicare EHR Incentive Program was February 28, but it was recently extended.
For physicians participating in the Medicaid EHR incentive program, the deadline is March 16.

TMA urges you not to wait until the last minute. You should attest as soon as possible due to the increasing volume of visitors on the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services Registration and Attestation website as the deadline approaches.
