This 16-page bioterrorism toolkit will be mailed to all members in a bundle with the January issue of Texas Medicine. Produced by the TMA Bioterrorism Task Force, the toolkit includes physician protocols on the diagnosis, reporting, etiology, and management of anthrax, botulism, smallpox, and plague, and one-page reproducible patient handouts on each of those diseases. Also included is the American Medical Association’s “Quick Reference Guide to Biological Warfare.”
